This year we commemorate the 110-year anniversary of the landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps troops at Gallipoli, Turkey.
Anzac Day is a day of national contemplation, a time to reflect on the contribution made by past and present service personnel, from across the country and the world, who have displayed great courage, discipline and self-sacrifice in choosing a life of service to their country and community.
Anzac Day is a day for soldiers and the nation to reconnect with our past, understand the present, and look to our future.
LEST WE FORGET – three words that will be heard across Australia tomorrow as we join together as a nation to pledge to never forget the service and sacrifice of those who have served and their families.
